Are Your Students the Best in Canada?
We’re looking to crown the 2023 Adobe Certified Professional Canadian National Champions!
The Adobe Certified Professional Canadian Championship, hosted by CCI Learning is a National Competition that tests student’s skills in qualifying Adobe applications – Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign.
About the Canadian National Championship:
The top 20 students* with a combination of the highest exam and Design Project scores in each of the fall and spring qualifying periods, will be invited to compete at the Virtual Canadian National Championship on June 6-7, 2023.
Students must request the creative brief to complete the Design Project component of the qualification criteria by contacting us. Students may submit their Design Project with all related source files at any time to CCI Learning on or before May 12, 2023 by emailing us to SUBMIT YOUR DESIGN PROJECT.*
* ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST BE AUTHENTIC AND ORIGINAL WORK CREATED BY THE STUDENT ENTERING. IF FRAUDULENT SUBMISSIONS ARE FOUND, THE STUDENT WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
Students may qualify in one of the two qualifying periods:
2023 Qualifying Periods:
Fall Qualifier period: June 16, 2022 – December 16, 2022
Spring Qualifier: December 17,2022 – May 12, 2023
How Students Can Participate:
Once a student has submitted a qualifying Adobe Certified Professional exam, students that would like to enter to qualify for the Canadian National Championship must contact us to receive a Design Project creative brief to complete the project component to qualify for the competition.
Eligible students will be given specific project guidelines in the creative brief. Students will then use Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and/or Adobe InDesign to create a digital asset to match the requested guidelines in the creative brief, using fonts, stock photography, and branding guidelines provided.
All design projects with source files must be completed and submitted by May 12, 2023, to qualify to participate in the Canadian National Championship. A limit of one (1) project per person is allowed throughout the two Qualifying Periods.
Design Projects received from any person in excess of the above stated limitation will be void. Projects are void if they are counterfeit, obtained through fraud, or late.
To improve exam scores and completion time, contestants are encouraged to retake their Adobe Certified Professional certification exams.
A student may take an eligible Adobe Certified Professional exam as many times as they want/need to achieve their desired results, as long as the student is not in violation of the exam retake policy.
Once the testing deadline of May 12, 2023, is completed, CCI Learning will notify the potential winners via email. If communication is not received from the potential winner within 48 hours, they may be disqualified. If disqualified, an alternative potential winner may be selected from other qualifying exams following the same process and criteria.
Students can enter their exam scores in one of two ways:
1. Enter an Exam at the Time of Testing:
When taking an Adobe Certified Professional exam before it is launched a screen will appear with information regarding Adobe Certified Professional competitions and an opt-in checkbox. To have an exam qualify for the championships, check the box, and then select the OK button.
