2021 COVID-19 Scholarship Update

Due to circumstances beyond our control, CCI Learning will not be awarding $1,000 scholarships or the middle school Jasperactive MOS year-long license. We apologize for the impact this may have on your programs.

The team here at CCI Learning does want to award effort! We know that this year has been a challenge, to say the least and not anything any of us would have anticipated. From the top-down, as districts, schools, teachers and students you have all overcome unsurmountable odds and persevered to earn invaluable Microsoft certifications in the face of incredible challenges to the process.

With that said, we are excited to announce that CCI Learning will be awarding $100 gift cards to the top 20 teachers based on the highest number of unduplicated certifications per capita, closing date is June 30th, 2021. Winners will be announced at the WA ACTE conference!!

If you need to renew the Jasperactive license currently in place from the scholarship, please contact us for further information on pricing and available programs.

Wishing you success in the last few weeks of the school year and our warmest regards!

Official Competition Rules

CCI Learning will make available scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each payable to ten (10) high schools in Washington State who have participated in the Microsoft Imagine Academy Program in the 2019-2020 school year and are offering the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS), the Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) and the Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE) certifications to their students, staff and faculty. The total amount awarded will be $10,000 payable in cash to be divided equally between the 10 high schools with the highest percentage of eligible certifications per population of students in Grades 9, 10, 11 and 12. (Building population counts supplied by OSPI.) CCI Learning will gift a Jasperactive license for the upcoming school year to three (3) middle schools (grades 6-8) with the highest certifications per capita. That is the number of certifications (not exams passed) divided by the OSPI reported building population.

In the event of a tie between schools, the school with the student achieving the highest exam score in a single exam will be awarded the scholarship. If students at two or more schools have achieved the same deciding score, the school whose student achieved the highest exam score obtained in the shortest amount of time will prevail. Only a single exam result obtained by a single student at each school will be recognized for the tie-breaker.

All qualifying schools with students, staff and faculty who attained certifications between July 1, 2019, and June 30, 2020, will be eligible.  There is no limit to the number of times that a candidate may sit an exam and candidates may be certified in as many applications as they choose.

Each scholarship may be distributed by the respective winning school at their discretion to one or more students. The recipient(s) must be a registered full-time student at the respective school and must be certified in at least one (1) Microsoft Office Specialist or one (1) Microsoft Technology Associate exam. Students that do not meet these criteria will not qualify.

The competition ends at 11:59.59pm on June 30, 2020, and the results will be announced on or before July 15, 2020 on the Washington Microsoft Office Specialist Facebook group page. The scholarship funds will be delivered to building address for the winning schools to the attention of the program teacher. The results as announced by CCI learning will be considered final.
